This amazing holiday will start on Skye the largest of the Inner Hebrides, and using the fantastic ferry links well also visit Uists, the Isles of Benbecula, Harris & Lewis and en-route we enjoy the amazing scenery of wildlife, coastlines and fresh water and sea lochs. The history and culture of the Hebridean Islands is unique with a strong influence from Norse, Gaelic and Celtic races in fact the Hebrides is where you will find the biggest concentration of Scottish Gaelic speakers in Scotland offering a warm and friendly welcome, but dont worry English is spoken mostly

Day One
We head North of the border and enjoy an overnight stay as we head up to the Highlands.
EMDay Two
As we enter the Highlands the spectacular scenery unfolds, we’ll enjoy some free time in Fort William before taking the road bridge to the Isle of Skye, passing Scotland’s 2nd most photographed Castle – the impressive Eilean Donan Castle. This evening we stay at the Dunollie Hotel on the Isle of Skye.
B, EMDay Three
Today we enjoy a scenic drive across Skye to catch our sailing to the Outer Hebrides, our sailing take us from Uig to Lochmaddy on North Uist. We’ll enjoy an afternoon taking in the sights of the Uists passing tiny lochs and impressive beaches and we will stay this evening at the Dark Island Hotel on the remote Isle of Benbecula - subject to availability we may include a visit to the Harris Gin Distillery en-route
B, EMDay Four
Leaving the Uists behind we board the ferry from Bernaray and enjoy the sail to the largest of the Hebridean Islands – Harris & Lewis. A rugged landscape of moorland, deep-sea lochs, and mountains. Against this backdrop is a proud history dating back to prehistoric times. We travel along the spine of the island to the capital Stornoway where we spend the next 2 nights at the Caladh Inn.
B, EMDay Five
Today we enjoy a full day tour of Lewis, with an experienced island guide, highlights will include the impressive 5,000 year old standing stones of Callanish (Scotland’s Stonehenge, but older). Our day also visits the Ancient thatched “Blackhouses”, a living museum typical of a crofting settlement, telling the story of how life once was on Lewis. Entry included. We’ll also pass imposing Carloway Broch, a fortified tower dating back over 2,000 years. A stunning day out.
B, EMDay Six
We leave the Hebrides behind this morning and enjoy a lovely 2 ½ hour sailing to Ullapool on the mainland. From here we’ll experience a stunning drive across the sweep of the Highlands to the Highland Capital Inverness where we enjoy some free time. Our journey then continue through picturesque Speyside and into Perthshire for our final nights stay.
B, EMDay Severn
Our journey home continues, we’ll have a leisurely morning then head back to the North West for approx.7pm

Dunollie Hotel, Skye * * *
The Dunollie Hotel is set by the serene waterside of Broadford Bay, at the foot of the mountains that lead to the famous Cuillin Hills. With 84 en suite bedrooms, a bar, and a restaurant, it is perfectly placed to explore an area rich in history across the Isle of Skye.
Dark Island Hotel, Benbecula * * *
Where the beauties of heaven unfold by the sea and the sweet purple heather blooms fragrant and free. The Dark Island Hotel is a great get-away-from-itall hotel in a stunning countryside location on the western side of the Isle of Benbecula. Enjoy the traditional pub style bar or the quiet exterior courtyard and feast in the large open plan restaurant serving fresh and tasty local produce served to perfection. Bedrooms are homely and o ffer TV, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel does not have a lift however all bedrooms are on the ground or first floor
Caladh Inn, Stornoway * *
Owned by the same family for over 20 years, this Stornoway hotel is where you'll find a great team of people who enjoy making guests feel welcome. The Caladh Inn provides comfortable guest rooms, all with bath, tea-coffee making facilities, hairdryer and TV. All floors are served by a lift. The hotel restaurant - Eleven prides itself on its excellent cuisine using as much local produce as it can.
