Day One
Early morning home pick ups are included as we head North to Aberdeen to catch the overnight sailing to Lerwick, Shetland. Purpose built for the routes, NorthLink Ferries ships, offer the highest standards of safety and comfort. Whether in one of the public areas or your inside en-suite cabin, as you set to sea, you'll feel like you're on a cruise. Dinner is included on board.
EMDay Two
We awake in Lerwick and enjoy breakfast on board, we then meet our local guide for a tour of the Northern Isles - Yell & Unst. Photo stop at the vast Sullom Voe Oil Terminal, then the short ferry crossing to Yell, with entry into the Old Haa Museum, Cullivoe - full of unusual artefacts from the lives of islanders. Board the short ferry to Unst, with many beautiful beaches and home to the RAF for decades. Light lunch included. See Muckle Flugga - the most northern tip of the UK, then Skidbladner - a replica Viking Long Ship, then back to Lerwick to check in to our hotel for the next 2 nights
B, L, EMDay Three
More exploring with our guide today starting with a Coastal tour towards Sumburgh Head RSPB, stopping at probably the best beach on Shetland - St. Ninians then to Viking Jarlsof archaeological site - one of Europe's largest and most complex sites spanning over 5000 years. Entry included into the Croft House Museum. After lunch we have a photo stop of Shetland Ponies in the Tingwall Valley before arriving in Scalloway, the former capital of The Shetland, with its 15th century castle dominating the skyline. Entry into the museum displaying local island exhibitions, history & folklore.
B, EMDay Four
Our final day on Shetland takes us Voe & Brae & the "Drongs" - a spectacular series of sea stacks. After lunch guided tour of Shetland Jewellery Nordic Workshop. Free time in Lerwick via Wormadale Viewpoint, before boarding the ship for the overnight sailing to Aberdeen with dinner on board.

We're back on the mainland, and our journey home begins, but don't worry we're going to make the most of our day taking in the stunning scenery of Scotland before heading to our final overnight stay.
