We are delighted to be heading back to Valkenburg for their truly unique Christmas markets, which take place underground in the towns stunning and atmospheric caves. Our fabulous seven-day holiday will also hop across the border into Germany to visit the Christmas Market in Aachen and also the magical town of Monschau. A wonderful Festive Break to really get you in the festive mood.

Day One
Mid-morning home pickups as we head to Hull for our evening crossing to Rotterdam. 2 Bed Lower Birth Cabins are included and whilst on board you can relax in one of the lounges, head to the on board cinema, have a flutter in the casino or enjoy the live entertainment.
Day Two
Arriving early morning we head straight to Valkenburg and our hotel where we check in and enjoy the afternoon at leisure in Valkenburg.
EMDay Three
A full day free in Valkenburg today. If you are planning to visit the Chridtmas Markets that take place in the town caves there is an additional charge for entrance and this must be pre booked via this website https://www.christmastownvalkenburg.com/tickets/
B, EMDay Four
Hopping across the border into Germany today and we head for the City of Aachen, their popular Christmas Market takes place in the squares and lanes around the Cathedral and town hall. Twinkling lights and the scent of mulled wine and Aachener Printen (kind of gingerbread) wherever you go - and all in a unique atmosphere! Aachen market regularly makes the top 10 list for European Markets
B, EMDay Five
Today we visit a another beautiful German town and whilst their Christmas Market usually only takes place at weekend the village of Monschau is a magical place to visit all year round. It is a lovely atmospheric town, with ancient walls, and idyllic halftimbered houses, narrow streets and cobblestones.
B, EMDay Six
We leave Valkenburg today to head back to Rotterdam for our Overnight Ferry. Firstly though, we visit the lovely Dutch town of Breda where we enjoy an extended lunch stop. Cabins & amenities as per the outward journey.
BDay Seven
Arriving back into Hull this morning we return to the North west around lunchtime.
