Highclere Castle - Downtons real name, has been the home to the Earl’s of Carnarvon since 1679 and is one of England’s most beautiful Victorian Castles, sitting amid 1000 acres of spectacular parkland. Explore the stunning grounds and spectacular Castle, your ticket also includes the Egyptian Exhibition as homage to the 5th Earl who, along with his colleague famously discovered the Tomb of Tuthankahmun in 1922. Our weekend break will also include visits to the splendid City of Oxford and wonderful Winchester with its stunning Cathedral.

Day One
We visit the City of Dreaming Spies - Oxford, en-route to our hotel. Explore this historic University City taking in the spectacular architecture seen on many TV shows.
EMDay Two
This morning we head to Highclere for our 10am visit. We have included entrance to the spectacular House - which you will of course recognise as Downton Abbey, you will also get the opportunity to wander the stunning gardens and explore the fascinating Egyptian Exhibition. Following our visit here we'll pop into the nearby town of Newbury for a little free time before returning to the hotel.
B, EMDay Three
Today we head to England's ancient Capital - Winchester. At the heart of this historic city you will find the stunning Cathedral, home to Europe's longest medieval nave and outstanding works of art. The City has much more to offer too including Arthurian Legend, the oldest working watermill in the UK and numerous museums. We leave Winchester at 2pm to head back to the North West.
