Welcome spring with a visit to the lovely village of Thriplow as they decorate their village with an ambundance of Daffodils
Nothing says 'here is spring' like a display of daffodils! Say goodbye to the winter in the pretty Cambridgeshire village of Thriplow at its annual traditional village fête-come flower festival, with open gardens, craft and home-produce stalls, music and rural entertainments and much, much more. Our weekend break will also visit the University City of Cambridge and the rural hub and pork pie town of Melton Mowbray.

Day 1
We travel to our hotel enjoying a visit to Melton Mowbray en-route, this lovely rural town is of course famous for it's Pork Pie's but the bustling High Street and town trail will also keep you busy.
EMDay 2
To the lovely village of Thriplow today to enjoy the visual spectacle of the Daffodil Weekend & Country Fayre. Enjoy free time around the traditional village fete atmosphere, browse the many stalls set out on the village green and marvel at the fabulous Daffodils in almost all gardens around the village. There's a program of live entertainment and in 2024 the show raised £70,000 for local charities.

We head for Cambridge today, enjoying free time in this historic city before heading home . Whilst in Cambridge why not enjoy a punt along the river or take in the magnificent architecture of the many Colleges, Churches and Chapels
